The Fishing Vessel Agents & Owners Association (Scotland) Limited is a trade association representing the main Scottish based fishing vessel agents/owners.
A new position for an Executive Consultant (Part-Time) has arisen. The position will involve primarily representing the interests of the Association and its members, influencing regulation and policy, in relation to the Scottish Government, Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and other relevant bodies. The successful candidate will require to attend meetings and deal with issues affecting the Association and its members as they arise.
It is expected the successful candidate, who will operate from his/her location based in Scotland, will have good written and verbal communication skills.
The position is envisaged to require on average 12 hours of work per week.
Experience in the fishing industry is essential. The successful candidate will be awarded a competitive contract, to be renewed on an annual basis.
