Lerwick harbour hosts wide range of mackerel boats

As is customary at this time of year, when mackerel move into Shetland waters at the start of their annual migratory pattern, an extensive range of local and visiting boats have landed mackerel at Lerwick – as shown in this selection of photographs by Ivan Reid and Sydney Sinclair
