A wide selection of readers’ photographs were sent to Fishing News in 2019 for inclusion in this occasional feature.
The high quality of the images received made selecting the six shortlisted photographs displayed here particularly challenging for the Fishing News team.
But by common consensus, the overall winner is ‘The end of an era – beamers crossing Torbay on the final leg of the last Brixham Trawler Race’, taken by Jenny Quinell-Scott, who will receive a cheque for £100.
