Fishing News Awards 2022: Last chance to book tickets!

The countdown is on to the long-awaited return of the Fishing News Awards as a live event – and with seats for the awards evening selling fast, tickets sales will close at midday on Friday, 6 May.
After an unprecedented two years of pandemic impacts and political upheaval, we are finally able to look forward to meeting up with friends and colleagues from across the industry, to network, socialise and focus on how much there is to celebrate.
The only awards event dedicated to recognising achievement and innovation in the UK and Irish commercial fishing industry, the Fishing News Awards will make awards in 10 categories this year. Join us for an evening of fine dining, networking and celebration as the winners are finally revealed!
The gala awards evening will take place at the luxury Chester Hotel in Aberdeen on Thursday, 12 May – the evening before the Scottish Skipper Expo opens at Aberdeen’s P&J Live arena.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 6.45pm. This will be followed by a top-class three- course dinner with wine, featuring an array of prime locally caught seafood.
Acclaimed Scottish comedian and television presenter Des Clarke will host the evening, which
will culminate with the announcement of this year’s award winners – after which the celebrations and socialising will continue until late.
