Nominations for this year’s Fishing News Awards are coming in from readers across the UK and Ireland, but some areas are still under-represented – so we’re extending the nominations window by an extra week to ensure that everyone has time to put their candidates forward.

Nominations will now close at midnight on Tuesday, 1 March – so click here to tell us about the people, organisations and companies in your area that deserve recognition.

The 2022 Fishing News Awards, which celebrate excellence across the industry during 2021, will take place at The Chester Hotel in Aberdeen on Thursday, 12 May.

With categories in this year’s awards ranging across the whole of UK and Irish commercial fishing, there are awards for people, organisations, vessels, ports and companies.

Nominate a colleague, a mentor, a mentee, a friend, a family member – or indeed yourself!
