“Steaming, we’re doing 10.8 knots flat out – the last Excel was 7.8 at a push,” skipper Derek Watt told us. “So we came from Macduff to Fraserburgh on 60 litres of fuel an hour, doing 9.5 knots all the way down the coast – really impressive.”
