Pulcea is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join it as its innovative sonar technology moves towards commercialisation within the salmon farming sector.

The role

Job Title: Marine Technician
Contract: Various options available, including sub-contractor – what suits you best?
Location: Various, Scotland west coast and islands including Northern Isles
Responsible: For the installation/operation of electrical and mechanical items

 The successful candidate will:

  • Have an engineering Marine background with a minimum of three years of experience to MCA approved Class 2 Engineering
  • Possess good health and safety awareness of themselves and others; STCW certified
  • Maintain work area with high standards of housekeeping and organisation
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team; skilled in commissioning and fault finding
  • Be an effective communicator, enthusiastic and capable of taking responsibility for a demanding workload that is liable to change at short notice
