Situations Vacant: Group scampi buyer

We are privately owned, family business with almost 30 years’ experience. We’re obsessed with producing top-notch market leading quality seafood. Reporting to the MD at Kilkeel Seafoods, we have an opportunity for a permanent, full time, Group Scampi Buyer to join our team.

The responsibilities within this role include:

Sourcing quality prawn tails from approved suppliers
Developing strong collaborative supplier relationships
Analyse and evaluate market intelligence and supplier/competitor trends to optimise sourcing
Identify, deliver, and maintain, cost-efficient procurement strategies
Monitoring and forecasting stock levels & procurement volume projections
