Wheel repurposed for festive cheer

When Alan Addison’s father first operated Reliant BCK 36 (pictured right, back in 1971) in Peterhead back in March 1971, he probably didn’t know the wheel adorning the wheelhouse would be repurposed 50 years later with such festive cheer!
Reliant is now a pleasure vessel but its current owners have given the wheel to the original owner’s son, Alan, who has given it a new lease of life.
Lovingly named the ‘Feeling Festive Wheel’ Alan tells us it now has ‘pride of place’ on his back garden boundary fence.
