This year’s Fishing News Awards saw two amazing prizes given away on the evening of 11 May 2023 – a night’s stay at The Chester Hotel and a bottle of Isle of Barra Distillers Gold Cave Batch No 2 Gin. The second release in the distillery’s series of limited-edition cask-aged gins, Gold Cave has been aged in an ex-sherry cask for six months. This year’s run produced 1,417 bottles – a cask of which the distillery generously donated to be raffled at the awards.
